Florence, since the Renaissance time, has been considered the world capital of perfumery art, thanks to "Caterina De Medici" and her famous master perfumers called "Muschiari". Dr. Giovanni Di Massimo, chemist in Florence, following an unexpected finding of some ancient recipe book manuscripts written by those perfumers of the '500, developed a growing interest for this enchanting and mysterious world. Thanks to his researches and innovations, he succeeded in giving to this old Florentine art a new life. I PROFUMI DI FIRENZE has been created, "Acque Mirabili Odorose", known and prized in the world just like the fragrances manufactured by the ancient "Muschiari", able to stimulate charming and suggestive feelings.

This fragrance has been created as an ode to a queen that was able,yet in the Renaissance, to invent and develop at so much extent the perfumery art. Mixing up ably the fragrances and tones of jasmine, lily of the valley, rose and peach flowers with the tones of iris of Florence, hyacinth, resin of benzoin and vetiver of Haiti,a tender and penetrating fragrance came alive, sweet and gentle,new and antic, classical and modern, able to struck the attention over times.

A woody and sweet perfume, flowery and spicy, fresh and citrus fruited. It spreads in the air the heat and the colours of the beautiful land of Siena. In June, at sunset, if you take a walk through Boboli's gardens in Florence, a delicate and prickly smell spreads through the air and grab your soul, reviving soothed or even forgotten memories.
To hold this moments back I created ACQUA Mirabile Odorosa di FIRENZE, where a solid basenote of white musk bears the delicate and evocative tones of the honeysuckle and iris of Florence. I then concealed all with a veil of lemon of Sicily.

In doing that, I tried to contain all the sour fragrance of the wild pomegranate inside a cheering mantle of white musk, after having sprinkled all around delicious and suggestive tones of lemon, orange blossom and vetiver.

Upon a soft bed of oak musk,cedar wood, amber, vetiver and white musk, I let tender tones of lily, lily of the valley, geranium, rose and tiny lavender to rest there, and then flooded the composition with puffs of tangerine, grapefruit and cassis.

A perfume born in 1990 to fix in the memory the scent that permeate Florence when, during the days of march, trees are still naked but in the gardens of the city flourishes luxuriant the mimosa, with its yellow flowers, bright and scented. They add splendour to the grey moments of winter, that is fading away. The heart of FLORENTIA 24 is exactly the mimosa, hold up by the tender and delicate flowers of the lily of the valley, the velvet petals of the rose of may, the rose flowers of the peach tree and the trumpet flowers of ylang ylang.

A fragrance created in 1990 in honor of De’ Medici family, the most important of Florence, the one that gave my city a character, making it famous in the world and most of all making it the world capital of art and culture. They fostered the development of the greatest men of genius mankind has never had before. I started from a substantial basis of spicy notes of rose pepper, white pepper and vanilla, from which I raised the flowery and aromatic notes of orange blossom, cinnamon,nutmeg and cloves. I then let the whole caressed by delicate breathes of lemon of Sicily and orange peel. A fragrance of an antic time came out, that for sure will last in the hearts of many of you.
